Oh, I haven’t been to my island since um… May? It’s probably quite feral by now. I should just start over I think.

Oh, I liked season 1 of The Great! And there’s What We Do In the Shadows. And Hit Monkey. I guess it’s time to get hulu again.

Re: What are we watching?

Devlin’s girlfriend wants to see House of Gucci. It looks very good, but it also seems like something that would have been better as a series. There just seems to be too much there for a movie. And the Clifford movie, of course. She’s a doggo person. Devlin never cared much for those books, he liked...

Re: What are we watching?

Eternals was meh. It did manage to explain all of my questions and complaints from the trailers, and it was pretty to look at. But the audience we had, between The Narrator behind us and Mr Blind Us With His Phone in front, it was made even less fun. It seemed to be a very long movie, just to set up...

Re: What are we watching?

Doom Patrol. Was that the last one? I mean, they’re all cliffhangers, but this one actually involves Cliff. Finished season 2 of Lock & Key. It wasn’t as gripping as season 1, but still willing to watch whatever comes next. Also, how did these people get that many keys? There’s like… a dozen or so t...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

I did one nice thing that looked a bit like a spiral tentacle, and she liked it so much that I sent it to her. :) I hope it was done in Mown Poupe. Mown Poupe truly shows how much one cares. I actually used some self-striping sock yarn, in black and rainbow, called Does This Rainbow Make My Black L...

Re: Bad Crypto Investing Advice

I just had to trawl through pages of facebook posts from several years ago, hunting for my notes. Because they disappeared them, but they’re sorta there in the archives. Anyway, I was reading a rant about getting spam emails from Coinbase about someone trying to sign in to my account, and now I wish...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

I think it’s the same woman who tried to have the AI write knitting patterns? Janelle Shane. A few years ago she somehow showed up in my group on Ravelry and decided to try to train an AI to write patterns. It would get stuck on even rows, had no idea about stitch counts or row counts. It was utterl...
