Re: What are we watching?

Which season are you on? I vaguely remember in later seasons where he kissed a man on the way out of orgy/party. He made a few remarks, occasionally. I kinda started watching the new stuff that migrated to Netflix, but never finished it up. Dev liked it though, and he’s annoyed that I didn’t finish...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

Thanks for the advice. I'll try and remember! "They're" always telling you to drink lots of water. I'd spend my life on the loo if I drank as much as I'm told. I read a blog post or article once about "8 cups of water daily" by someone who dug into it, and there didn't seem to be any firm science b...

Re: Good Omens, the TV series

I hadn't read it in a decade or so, so I was pretty fuzzy on what was added or removed. But my favorite parts were any Crowley and Aziraphale scenes. Those two really worked well together. I could totally see it with a male British narrator. I usually hear Neil's stuff in his voice. I've never heard...

Re: The Sandman Netflix series

I'm very excited to see it. So far, the casting sounds great. I'm trying to manage my expectations, which is hard because I've long believed that a Sandman series could be one of the best shows ever made (in the way that the comic was one of the best comic books ever made.) But a lot of things would...

Re: What are we watching?

Watching Lucifer, which is fun and does have moments where it feels almost a little Sandman-y, at least moreso than I expected, but boy is it a heteronormative take on the character, which I'm sure you wouldn't get in a Gaiman version of the character, especially since the show's Lucifer is actually...

Re: Remembering How To Shift

My shot #2 is on Tuesday. They told Adrienne after shot #1 to drink water and keep moving her arm. They didn't tell me anything. I guess they wanted me to suffer. :D

Just for the record, I was never here.

The avatar was tricky. It had to be under a certain size. I don't remember exactly what the rules were.

I know I have been neglecting you lately, Board. I've busy, and a little sad, and a little lazy.

Re: What are we watching?

Watched the first episode of Big Sky by David E Kelley. Not sure where I am on it. Very twin peaksian setting, but the story was a fairly conventional, if compelling, thriller. Some of it had me riveted, but some scenes just had bad writing, which I wouldn't expect from Kelley. We'll probably keep w...
