ha! I did too, so I made some with red cabbage. It's pretty tasty. Also it's "use frozen crap" week, bc I had to buy a new fridge and my freezer needs culling.

I do have red cabbage, but I have always used regular green and I think the red would be off-putting for me, since it needs to be like pebble-sized rubble bits rather than shreds, at least for me.

Yes, I know I’m weird. :)

My son’s girlfriend has been “home” since before Thanksgiving (her roommate was making her life a hell, and covid restrictions did not help, so it was a mental health thing to come home) but she’s going to go back for next semester. I shall miss her dearly to be honest. I rather like having them around. She leaves in about 2 weeks and I would like to do pizza some night.

I actually really like the red cabbage coleslaw, I find it sweeter and less sharp than regular. Also I made tiramisu and that shit was delicious.

We scrapped the whole menu and ended up doing greek meatballs with couscous and tzatziki. Nice and easy, and we didn't have an enormous mess to clean up afterwards.
Do you make your own meatballs? I'd love a recipe if you do. I really want to start branching out in my cooking this year.
It was all Snazz! He reads a bunch of recipes and then mashes bits and pieces of them together. I'll bug him about it though.

I think I may have added a touch too much pomegranate juice to my cream cheese frosting. The hint of tartness is interesting but just a hair beyond the balance I was looking for.
