I mean, I don't think there's ever been 1000+ people on any version of the Board at one time.

Since we don't have 5000+ new users, I'm guessing some loser was trying to DDOS (overload and crash) the Board.

My husband actually got me a thoughtful gift for my birthday, a Lego Bonsai Tree. I finished it today. It took me so long because I couldn’t figure out which leaves to put on it. I ended up with green leaves and added some frogs and flowers and put on some of the dropped leaves too.

Supposed to have friends visiting today, but she just texted me that they’ll be here later. So I guess I walk down for the mail and then make some tortillas.

FYI on DHGate they sell a LED light set for the Bonsai Tree.

That's wonderful and happy belated birthday! And yum, tortillas.

*looks underneath his folding table*
*sees a sticker for a 5 year warranty*

WHY would you need a 5 year warranty for a folding table? The only people I'd think that make claims on broken folding tables would be pro wrestlers, and with them, I'd make the warranty period extremely short.

Earlier today:

Me, reading comics outside on my apartments patio. In the parking lot below, some guy babbling on his phone, thoughtlessly pacing around.

Looked up just in time to see him almost get wiped out by a white Honda who was diving for a parking space, also on her phone not paying attention.

Brakes screech and squabbling with colorful adjectives ensued.
