What are you drinking? (and why?)

Talk, mix, mingle, have a good time. Just ... be kind.

Right, West Coast. Who does an imperial pumpkin out there?
Elysian! Night Owl is my favorite (the imperial I was drinking is Great Pumpkin) although they barely count as local since they sold to Anheuser-Busch a couple years ago. I've still got got a bomber of Reubens Autumn Harvest waiting in the garage pantry though.

Nice. I can find some of Elysian's regular beers here (Space Dust and Contact Haze), but do not see their seasonal or limited release stuff.

Elysian is pretty good! I have some Paulaner and Spaten Oktoberfests, one lone Great Lakes porter, and a bunch of liquor. Anybody ever try Zirbenz? It's piney!

USAians call that a Champagne cocktail. See also Chambord and Canton for substitutions for St Germain/elderflower. Actual Champagne is rarely harmed in this brunch favorite.

Usually with Prosecco (not Valdobbiadene [most have no clue what the hell that even means, DOC vs DOCG {and hillsides and the lot}]), but often Cava as well.

Champagne is super marked up in the US. Seriously when we were in Bouzy and Reims a couple years ago, vintage Champaign was $100 less per bottle than what we pay in the States, it is a wacky markup here.

I don't typically go for champagne/prosecco/etc. If I drink wine it's typically tempranilla, garnacha, or something along those lines.
Domaine de Canton though, I'm a big fan of. It works well in mixed drinks.
