Literature Matters: RSL 200 – Neil Gaiman and Marlon James in conversation

Location: Online Stream
Thursday, 7:30-9:00pm

RSL 200 is the Royal Society of Literature’s bicentenary event series bringing together some of the world's best-known writers to explore the impact of literature on their lives. Neil Gaiman and Marlon James, two of the most revered fantasy writers of their generation, share a life-long love of the mythic and the transcendent power of imagination. In a unique conversation about why literature matters to them, the literary cult heroes will explore the importance of escapism, and the value of spending time in invented worlds.

Broadcast live from three continents, this truly transatlantic conversation is presented in partnership with the British Library.

Free for RSL Members and Digital Events Passholders. RSL Members can also book one discounted guest ticket for £5 and have exclusive access to the RSL Book Club on Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys. Log in to book or join here.

Non-Members can book public tickets through the British Library.
